»BACKGROUND«
Being the only eldest son of a powerful military general, Chase was put under strict surveillance from birth. Born from a wealthy family of 'old money', the boy was always kept inside throughout his childhood, with his father monitoring every move; making sure that his grades were always high, and the friends he made were up to his father’s standards.
By age 14, he had grown a love for parkour, as it was the only thing that made him feel free from the restraints of his dad’s expectations. Chase would sneak out every night to meet up with his friends, oftentimes getting himself into trouble.
Little did he know, his dad had signed him up for a human weaponization project as a test subject. Chase was taken away at the age of 15, transferred to Seoul to get programmed. Under this, he endured a severe amount of trauma, resulting in his body dissociating to cope- thus rendering the programming successful, as his handlers created a brand new persona, to be used by the government as a weapon.
They trained him, molded into the perfect soldier- under the guise of a military school, catered to humans and supernaturals alike. This association was called The Academy. Chase had spent four years in this institution, taking classes and training for the field to become official hunters. He wasn’t too fond of it, but being naturally good, Chase was one of the top hunters in his field.
Throughout the years of training, Chase has somewhat befriended his alter. The alter was only trained to kill, but has gained a soft spot for him. He serves as a protector, surfacing when Chase is at danger, and sometimes out of will.

Due to his father imposing strict values onto the household, Chase was raised with extreme disciplining, always being guarded and kept around the walls of their house. This however fueled him up more to rebel against his parents, always finding ways to sneak out and run around the city.
A person who likes living on the edge, he tends to take risks and acts without thinking.
Chase tends to be very cold towards strangers, and can often take some time to completely open up. However, once he's warmed up to a person, they might find that he's much more of an open book than he let on.
